How to Set Up a LinkedIn Company Page

A LinkedIn Company Page serves as a hub where members can learn more about your company and its products and services. Three basic steps are involved in setting up a Company Page:

  • Create a company profile
  • Add a “Products and Services” tab
  • Request customer recommendations

Create a Company Profile

Step 1: To set up a Company Page, log into LinkedIn, click “Interests” in the navigation bar, and click “Companies.” You will be redirected to a page showing companies you follow, the ability search for companies, and the ability to add your company.


Step 2: Click the “Add a Company” link in the upper right-hand corner of the Companies page.

Add Your Gmail Account to Outlook 2010 Using IMAP

First Login to your Gmail account, click settings and select the “Forwarding and Pop /IMAP” tab. Select “Enable POP for all mail” and “Enable IMAP” and click “Save changes”

Start Outlook 2010, choose the File tab from the menu and select the Info option from the left. Now click on “Add account” as shown below

Enter in your name, email address, and password twice then click Next. (This direct E-mail Account Setting doesn’t work for Google app. To configure Google App mail id skip this step and follow next step (Manually Configured) )

Enable Google App In Your Mobile Mail Settings

To configure the ‘Email’ app on an Android device for access to Google Apps email, just follow the steps below:

  1. Enable IMAP in your Mail settings.
  2. On your phone, press < Home >, then open the Email application.
  3. On the ‘Your accounts’ page, select Next to get started with setup.
  4. Enter your full Google Apps email address and password, then select Next.
  5. Select IMAP account and then select Next.
  6. On the ‘Incoming server settings’ page, some fields may be pre-populated. Make sure to change the following:

  7. For ‘Username,’ enter your full Google Apps email address
  8. For ‘IMAP server,’ enter ‘’
  9. For ‘Port,’ enter ‘993’
  10. For ‘Security type,’ select ‘SSL (always)”
  11. Select Next.
  12. On the ‘Outgoing server settings’ page, some fields may be pre-populated. Make sure to change the following:

  13. For ‘SMTP server’ enter ‘’
  14. For ‘Port,’ enter ‘465’
  15. For ‘Security type,’ select ‘SSL (always)”
  16. Select Next and continue through the setup options.

You can verify your settings from the Inbox view by tapping < Menu > > Account settings.

One of the most discussed topics we see when attending WordCamps and other events is what’s better for SEO: categories vs tags? What’s the difference between categories and tags?
